University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ("UEC") supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We’re responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.

Position Summary

Temporary, Staff, Part Time (19 hours per week), Non-Benefited position through 9/30/2026 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance). 

Salary: $22.00-$27.00 per hour

Location: CSUSB Campus.

Work Schedule

19 hours per week. Schedule to be arranged, typically Monday–Friday, though some evening and weekend work may be required.

Typical Activities

Under minimal supervision of the CAE Director, the Project Coordinator will work independently to:

• Provide administrative support to the Center for Cyber and AI leadership and team.
• Maintain organized records of center activities, participants, contacts, and outcomes.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings, workshops, and events.
• Manage calendars, prepare agendas, and take meeting notes as required.
• Support communications including email correspondence, promotional content, and reports.
• Assist with general clerical duties such as document preparation, filing, copying, and supply ordering.
• Coordinate logistics for center-hosted events including room bookings, catering, materials, and setup.
• Update and maintain center data systems and digital filing structures.
• Provide front-line support for inquiries from students, faculty, and community partners.
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned to support center initiatives.
 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: 
    • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 
    • Minimum of 3 years of general office administrative experience
  • Other:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and digital communication tools.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Customer service orientation and professionalism in interactions with diverse audiences.
    • Experience with scheduling, event coordination, and document management is preferred.
    • The position requires a high level of organization and flexibility, and the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders
