Job Overview
Under general direction of the Dean, the College-Wide Coordinator and Assistant to the Dean will provide administrative and project support for the Dean of the College of Education, Health, and Human Services (CEHHS) and ongoing operations of the Dean’s office to include coordinating college-wide initiatives, budget coordination, maintaining RTP files, and support for community partnership activities. CEHHS is a large and complex organizational unit that works closely with Extended Learning and other units/partners on and off campus to provide high quality education to our students. As such, this individual independently coordinates multiple projects with broad impact across the college and university and serves as a liaison between CEHHS and other campus offices and external entities. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is essential as this position will frequently handle highly sensitive interpersonal and strictly confidential situations and interacts at the highest level within and outside the University. Specific areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, the following: project coordination of the Dean’s strategic initiatives and project; oversight of Dean’s calendar, oversight of Dean’s Office functions, general project support, preparing/organizing travel and facilitating related reimbursements, oversee tenure-track faculty RTP files, support for the Associate Dean as needed, provide college-wide support services, track and coordinate the Dean’s office auxiliary accounts, Foundation projects and accounts, and support community partner operations.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.

Pay, Benefits, and Work Schedule
Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,100 - $5,600 per month
CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,058 - $6,653 per month
Salary is commensurate with the background and experience of the individual selected.
This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. In addition, 14 paid holidays are offered each year; 13 scheduled on specific days and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year.
